New York Presbyterian Medical Group-Hudson Valley Hospital leased an additional 5,338 rentable square feet of medical space on the second floor of 2649 Strang Blvd for 10 years. La Bella Salon, a hair salon committed to quality service with expertly trained professionals offer a range of hair services including color care, hair-cuts, highlights and perms, just signed a long term renewal for their 1,200 square foot salon.

State of the Art Cleaners, a dry cleaner that has been in business at the center for over 20 years has signed a long term renewal for their 1,660 square foot store.

Fordham University, the country’s leading Jesuit University, will use the brand-new, state-of-the-art facility for its Fordham Westchester adult undergraduate education program, which consists of its Graduate School of Business (MBA) Graduate School of Social Services, Graduate School of Education and master’s degree program in the School of Education. Fordham decided to lease the facility after inspecting almost three dozen sites countywide. It chose 400 Westchester Avenue as its Fordham Westchester Campus due to its central Westchester location with unsurpassed highway and mass transportation access, combined with the campus setting of the facility. Classes will begin at the facility in September of 2008. An $8 million renovation will provide Fordham Westchester with the latest in green building technology, with academic facilities surround a large central courtyard. Fordham Westchester at 400 Westchester Avenue is currently undergoing an extensive renovation to provide Fordham University with the latest in green building technologies and the most current learning facilities available. Verizon New York and Verizon Global Networks committed to two separate long term leases for 99,736 square feet. The County of Westchester also signed a new lease for 17,460 square feet. Both tenants committed to leases in 10 County Center a 205,000 square foot office building acquired by the principals of GHP Office and its locally based partner, Benerofe Properties in July of 2007. Headquarted in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, Verizon Communications has committed to use the County Center Road space for their new FIOS services: customer support, call center and training of staff. The location will house over 500 Verizon employees on the ground and fourth floors of the building.
